Gallagher are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Account Executive to join their high performing team in their Bournemouth Office. You will be working for a global strength in the insurance market, responsible for servicing your own portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding organisation and further develop a career in the insurance industry.



Things you need to know:



This is a permanent role. We are based in Bournemouth with access to transport links. Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5. Salary from 27,000.

A bit about the job:





You will manage the entire renewal process for clients, using excellent communication skills to gather information from both clients and prospects. This role involves maintaining and growing your book of business by actively pursuing new leads, openly discussing renewal terms, and exploring competitive alternatives through broker relationships to meet client objectives. You'll visit clients when appropriate to showcase your interpersonal strengths, handle account queries and credit control issues efficiently, and escalate concerns to the right team. Additionally, you'll identify and act on new business opportunities, applying sound judgment to recommend them when suitable.



Skills and experience we are looking for:



Insurance B2C experience is ideal Hold or be working toward a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification such as Dip CII or Cert CII. Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent) with a solid understanding of general insurance products, services, and classes of insurance. Strong awareness of client markets and industry networks, including the London Market, Lloyd's, and broader insurance sector. Demonstrate diligence in managing administration, policy documentation, and compliance processes. Maintain an exceptional client service focus, ensuring the customer is always the top priority. Drive new business growth through outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Confidently manage ambiguity while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Commit to continuous learning and professional development to expand your industry knowledge.
