About the Role
As an Account Executive, you'll drive new business by combining outbound prospecting with high-quality demos and closing.
You'll work closely with SDRs who generate and qualify interest, but you'll also be expected to create your own pipeline.
This isn't a transactional sales role. Clubs and acitivity providers need education, clarity and confidence - often from people who are volunteers, busy parents or business owners juggling multiple roles. You'll help them understand how upgrading their tools can unlock more participation, reduce admin, and sustain their organisation long-term.
You'll need to be comfortable with technology, fast to learn product updates, and confident demoing software to non-technical audiences.
What You'll Do
Run consultative demos that guide prospects through challenges across admin, payments, compliance, and participation
Create pipeline via outbound outreach, prospecting and personalised follow-up
Partner with SDRs to convert outbound + campaign activity into qualified pipeline
Own mid-funnel to close - scoping, proposals, negotiation and handover
Multi-thread committees and stakeholders with mixed digital fluency
Build sector and persona insights that inform segmentation and playbooks
Work with the Sales Lead on refining outbound angles and demo structure
Support a clean handover to onboarding and Customer Success
Outbound Expectation
You'll be responsible for generating a meaningful share of your pipeline. That means:
prospecting into target clubs and activity providers
proactive outbound sequences
follow-up on dormant/inactive accounts
campaign-based outreach during seasonal peaks
building micro-lists and angles around ICPs
using CRM + automation tools (HubSpot) to stay organised
Outbound is not a fallback in this role - it's part of the engine.
