The Role
We are delighted to be working with our client, a market-leading logistics provider, in their search for an Account Executive to join their small but busy team. Reporting into the Senior Account Executive, this client account management position will see the successful individual take ownership of a variety of client projects relating to logistics in handling fine art shipping, storage and installation services. This Account Executive will be responsible for:
- Client relationship management including consulting and quoting on fine art transport and logistics projects, being a central point of contact for all customer communication and responsible for the overall customer experience
- Logistics co-ordination: responsibility for coordinating fine art logistics and customs procedures for imports, exports and domestic shipments across air, sea and land
- Taking a hands-on approach and assisting with the physical transportation and set up of some projects including attending art fairs and galleries and meeting with clients
The successful Account Executive will ideally come from a shipping or logistics background - knowledge of exhibition, luxury product/fine art logistics would be beneficial, but by no means essential. You will be naturally organised and comfortable juggling a multitude of projects. You will be a confident communicator and thrive on building relationships. The most important attribute someone can have for this role is a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and embrace the company culture.
