Permanent, full-time (office based with work from home policy - Friday's)

Reports To:

Client Success Director

Remuneration:

30k - 35k base annual salary, plus 10% Bonus based on achieving targets (paid quarterly)

ABOUT THE JOB



Account Executive - working within a highly driven and experienced team, the Account Executive is responsible for developing prospective, new and existing client accounts to optimise commercial success throughout those accounts. You will be a proactive researcher, quick to identify rebooks, new contacts and opportunities. You'll be a natural networker and relationship builder with the ability to mirror and match the broad range of clients and individual bookers. Commercial awareness and strategic planning is key to fully understanding our clients, their brand, culture and industry sector as well conduct the respective activity involved for developing and maintaining client accounts.

Key duties and responsibilities:



Consultatively engaging with clients to raise brand awareness and to enhance IVS presence Understanding and qualifying client briefs and supporting in converting enquiries to contract / confirmation stage Identifying re-book opportunities and consecutive year deals Creating, nurturing and maintaining key relationships with clients - through in-person meetings, presentations, hosted and accompanied site inspections, hosting IVS client showcases and virtual meetings and presentations Manage the growth and maintenance of the client database / CRM for accurate records Achieving a pre-determined and agreed annual sales target Minimum of 20 meetings / presentations / site visits per month Attend industry events and expo's to continually develop venue and industry knowledge Weekly reporting on activity, commercials and client meeting activity

ABOUT YOU



You are a client-focused individual with a positive 'can do' attitude. You are adaptable, a quick learner and enterprising in your approach. You will have excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and advanced listening skills, you are driven by targets, results, new challenges and key measures in your day to day work. Communication is one of your personality strong points. Ownership of the above will lead you into career progression with IVS and an Account Manager role, which is more strategic and requires more responsibilities.

Key Requirements



Event / Conference office / Sales experience - minimum 1 year Experienced in the MICE sector - venue knowledge an advantage Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and achieve results Effective communication and active listening skills Customer-focused with a commitment to satisfaction Excellent interpersonal skills - relationship-building and collaboration abilities Strong organisational, accuracy and planning skills under pressure Natural networker and brand ambassador Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems
