Job Overview


We are looking for a proactive and organised Account Executive to support our Account Director in managing a portfolio of customer accounts. Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day customer queries, you will help ensure clients receive prompt, accurate, and professional service while freeing the Account Director to focus on strategic client relationships.

Duties



Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries, handling general enquiries, requests for information, and purchase orders. Manage and prioritise the Account Director's inbox and calendar, arranging meetings and coordinating diaries. Ensure follow-up actions from customer meetings are tracked and progressed, including obtaining project pricing and internal information. Coordinate with internal teams (sales, service, technical, and operations) to ensure timely responses and updates for customers. Maintain accurate customer records and track activity in CRM systems.
Support preparation of proposals, quotations, and customer-facing documents.

Escalate more complex issues to the Account Director while ensuring seamless communication with customers. Provide regular updates and reports on account activities.

Skills



Previous experience in a customer-facing or account support role (MSP/IT sector experience desirable). An understanding of Microsoft products and services, and the importance of cybersecurity would be beneficial Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with a professional and approachable style. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and CRM tools. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. May suit a technical individual, looking to transition to a highly rewarding sales role
