A major professional sports league in the UK is seeking an Account Executive - Ticket Sales and Service to sell group ticket/ food and beverage packages for its annual iconic Championship event.
This full-time entry-level position is based in Manchester and focuses on selling ticket packages to businesses, community groups, families and youth organizations.
No prior sales and service experience required as extensive training and development is provided by world-class sport and entertainment industry leaders. Excellent opportunity to enter and grow into the highly competitive sport and entertainment industry.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Sell and service group tickets for the annual event.
Be on-site at the event to meet and greet/ help deliver and execute group leader and attendee benefits and experiences
Produce daily and weekly sales activity and revenue production reports
Assist Team Leader in any related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum Bachelor's degree preferred
Excellent communications skills
Ability to follow instructions
No prior sales or service experience necessary as extensive training is provided by world-class/ best in the industry professionals
Proficiency in related technologies ( venue ticketing software; Salesforce; Excel spreadsheets etc.), a plus
COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary offered, with opportunity to earn significant commission.
