We are looking to recruit an Account Handler to complement our expanding mid-corporate team at our Exeter office.

As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for portfolio management, renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and handling client queries. This role requires working across multiple sectors and multiple lines of business, providing an exciting and diverse work environment.

How you'll make an impact
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively and efficiently
Handle policy renewals, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Process mid-term adjustments (MTAs) and policy endorsements as required
Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and seamless service delivery
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and product knowledge
Assist in the development and implementation of client retention strategies
Provide support to the Account Executives and other team members as needed
About You
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the insurance industry, would be ideal
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner
Self-motivated and driven, with a strong desire to succeed
Ambitious and eager to learn and grow within the organisation
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct
