Account Manager - Smart Managed Solutions - London

The Role
We're seeking a dynamic Account Manager to lead the operational and commercial performance of a key client contract. You'll oversee the maintenance of M&E systems, lead on-site teams, and drive service excellence -- while managing a contract P&L of circa 3m, ensuring strong financial performance and profitable growth.
What You'll Do

• Manage PPM, reactive works, and full statutory compliance
• Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams (briefings, TBTs, appraisals)
• Produce accurate monthly client reports and maintain excellent communication
• Oversee QHSE audits, documentation, and performance standards
• Manage extra works, quotations, and supplier relationships within contract parameters
• Control budgets, monitor spend, and protect P&L performance (~3m)
• Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and profitability

What You'll Bring

• 2-5 years' experience in FM/operational contract management
• Experience of managing managers
• Strong understanding of M&E systems
• Confident in financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Desirable: 18th Edition, C&G 2391, Mechanical/HVAC qualifications
