Following the successful growth of new and existing clients, we are on the lookout for an Account Manager to join our busy team and hit the ground running. This role is to support a range of our clients across the Client Services team. Due to the nature and pace of the accounts, we are looking for someone who is proactive and works well under pressure, asks the right questions and has excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Produce accurate timing plans, containing the right level of resource required, and ensure its booked in with our Studio Manager
Write compelling and inspirational briefs for the delivery teams, and have these approved by senior colleagues beforehand if required
Ensure outputs are reviewed against briefs, seen by senior colleagues and approved before sharing with clients
Update status reports and lead client status calls, and follow up with clear notes and actions
Write contact reports following strategic client meetings, so key conversations are documented
Raise accurate time estimates and quotes, and have these approved by senior colleagues where appropriate, before sending them to clients
Monitor the financial status of projects, ensuring profitability and flagging scope creep
Compile background information on competitors or market insights as requested by the planning team
Your skills and experience Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Whilst this role sits within the Client Services team, you will work closely with all departments to facilitate what is needed across projects, implement strategies and guide clients.
Having a sound understanding of strategy, creative, different media channels, website and reporting techniques is required, as well as experience of writing briefs and managing internal agency processes. In this role, you will start to build out your depth of understanding across the agency's integrated marketing services.
Account structures are split into two. Monthly retainers are for ongoing work, including paid media campaigns, organic social media, creative and content production, reporting and insights. Project-based work is more often for branding and website work on a non-retainer basis. Your role will require you to pick up a mix of both.

Essential
Be a welcoming face/voice of the agency when dealing with clients or suppliers on the phone, and when they visit the agency
Establish and build honest relationships with our clients, based on trust and transparency
Understand AUK's project delivery process and follow the internal approval procedure
Have excellent project management skills, be efficient, proactive and commercially aware
Build strong relationships with your colleagues and positively contribute to agency life
Desirable
Previous experience in an integrated marketing agency
Having at least 2 years of client-facing agency experience and experience across either B2C, B2B or both is preferable.
