About the role



The position of 'Account Manager - Imported Brands' sits within our rapidly expanding team focussed on the Group's continental brands: Burstner, Carado, Dethlefffs, Eriba, Etrusco, Hymer, Laika and Sunlight. The position is field based with extensive national travel and some European travel. The account manager is the bridge between the brand and retailer.

Key responsibilities:



To plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims. To integrate personal sales efforts with organised marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, exhibitions, retailer shows. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods. To plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory according to the agreed sales strategy. To collate and submit sales data for your territory analysis and take appropriate actions to ensure sales objectives are achieved. To build long-term relationships by understanding our customers business needs, identifying their expectations and negotiating mutual goals. To negotiate customer service levels and trading terms. To develop our dealer network within the UK and Ireland through the appointment of quality retailers. To train and develop our retail dealers and their personnel to ensure the highest possible standard of product knowledge for Erwin Hymer Group products through various methods including but not limited to, one to one training, organised training workshops and provided training/information material. To give feedback through the retailer visit reporting system and other appropriate means. To liaise with internal departments to review customer accounts and drive appropriate improvements. To monitor and report on market and competitor activities.

What are we looking for?



GCSE A-C or equivalent English & Maths.
Full UK driving licence. Have previous demonstratable Account Management experience Have experience in a target and results driven environment. Have experience in new business prospecting and cold calling. Have strong negotiation skills. Have knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a high degree of creativity and initiative Customer-focused Have excellent attention to detail Flexible, reliable and adaptable Have ability to build up collaborative working relationships (external and internal)

Desirable



Degree in relevant technical discipline (Business, Sales or Marketing). Have relevant experience within the leisure vehicle industry (B2B and/or B2C). Have demonstrable understanding of leisure vehicle market.
