Job Description

We are expanding rapidly and are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and entrepreneurial individual to join our Intermodal Account Management team. We are looking to hire an Account Manager and if you have experience from within the Intermodal Logistics sector, that would be advantageous, though not essential. You will have an opportunity to cross-sell a broad range of intermodal logistics solutions to leading global Tank Container Operators, Container Lessors, Container Depots and Container Traders. This target-driven role is primarily remote, but there would be some UK and global travel attending customer sites, and specific trade events.We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and

socialisation

. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the London office.
RESPONSIBILITIESPersonally manage, professionally represent MRI and build mutually beneficial relationships with decision makers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, customer retention and account development. Ensure clients are gaining maximum value from their investment with MRI. Provide vital input into MRI's product roadmap based on real world customer requirements. Achieve and exceed all quarterly and annual fiscal targets and objectives. Recommending appropriate solutions and working with MRI Legal and commercial teams to negotiate acceptable terms with the client. Identifying opportunities for cross-selling other MRI products or products/services. Maintaining regular contact by telephone and onsite visits. Working effectively with other stakeholders within the business such as Legal, Sales Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Development and the Implementation teams. Ensuring Salesforce is up-to-date to reflect all activity.
REQUIREMENTS
EssentialExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional inter-personal skills. Confident, tenacious and driven. The ability to communicate effectively and to identify opportunities. Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed targets and deadlines. Good attention to detail and a desire to see a task through to completion. Ability to organise/manage own workload and use initiative to create opportunities. Demonstrate integrity and professionalism through all interactions.
PreferableTrack record of achievement in a target driven environment. Knowledge of intermodal logistics, the shipping industry, Tank Container Operating and/or knowledge of Tank Containers in general. Software Solutions sales experience. Experience of using Salesforce.com. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
