Role Description
As an Account Manager, you will play pivotal role in the driving growth and expanding the services we provide to our client base. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders and developing existing relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for the overall performance of each client's account, working without help and service desks to ensure contract KPIs are being met.
Team Leadership
Empower, lead and support the team of help and service desk co-ordinators within the operations department.
Serve as the link of communication between key customers and the internal teams, inclusive of escalations.
Collaborate with the Operations department and Director Team.
Conduct weekly operational meeting and reporting to the team and the Directors.
Responsible for the operational divisions for profit and loss with a key focus on maintaining profit margins and all works are billed correctly.
Responsible for ensuring all contracts are delivered to the correct service levels.
Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying areas of improvement and report in writing to the directors.
Client Leadership
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers with all clients.
Develop a trusting relationship with the clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
Proactively identify and address client concerns, exceeding expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
Serve as the link of communication between key customers, internal teams and directors inclusive of escalations.
Preparing new account documentation and client information packages.
Lead mobilisation of new sites or services to new and existing clients.
Sales Leadership
Identify cross-selling opportunities within the portfolio, leveraging our diverse services.
Managing our CRM database or similar and maintaining accurate records of all sales opportunities.
Manage the remedial (quotes) sales pipeline and forecast sales growth (new opportunities) for assigned accounts.
Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
Attending meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and client/supplier entertainment events as required.
Supplier Leadership
Lead new supplier partner onboarding through introductions, meetings and referrals in areas of need.
Preparing new supplier account documentation and onboarding minimum required information packages, then stored of our CAFM.
Negotiate contracts with new and existing supplier partners, ensuring optimal terms and maximising profitability.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, adapting strategies to ensure we remain competitive.
Carry out supplier review meetings, issue relevant reports based on performance to ar risk (under performing) suppliers.
