What\'s the role?

Critical to the growth and success of The Drum, is the development of Strategic Solution\xe2\x80\x99s global Client Services team. A highly collaborative team, Client Services is the voice of the client within the business, and the voice of our business to our clients.

Operating as a shared delivery function - the team manage and deliver client partnerships across The Drum\xe2\x80\x99s largest product lines, spanning bespoke marketing solutions, digital publishing, event sponsorship and alignment, and now broadening into research and insights.

Reporting to the Account Director, the role of the Account Manager is to manage and delight The Drum\xe2\x80\x99s clients, through effectively executing client partnerships and branded content campaigns, pushing the boundaries of creativity and client service.

What will you do?

  • Assist in campaign planning, the project set up, and kick-off - including building project timelines, and checking sales documentation
  • Manage and lead client communications post-sale, responding to clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Take ownership of key accounts, build rapport with clients, establish ways of working, and get to know their business and industry
  • Operate as day-to-day point of contact, managing full e2e lifecycle of campaigns
  • Work with the sales lead to ensure key project milestones are planned for and effectively organized, e.g. onboarding sessions, wash-ups, etc.
  • Ensure CRM systems and project management software are accurately used and maintained
  • Work with internal departments within The Drum to plan, design, and implement campaign strategy to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns
  • Help source and manage third-party/external resources as necessary e.g. freelance journalists
  • Budgetary management of the project including logging direct costs
  • Post-campaign reporting, in conjunction with the Sales lead
  • Attend corporate events or field appointments as required and represent the company in a correct and professional manner
  • Be a core player in The Drum Client Services team, contributing ideas and feedback
Requirements
