The Account Manager will be a key member of our Commercial team. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of data analytics in the retail supply chain, a proven track record in account management and sales, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Account Managers work directly with clients to solve complex challenges and create business value across multiple functions. You are passionate, ambitious and self-motivated. You are eager to contribute to the overall company goals, exceed your quota and foster growth amongst our team and organisation.

This is an evolving role, reporting directly to the Commercial Director. Whether you are coming from a startup or corporate background, you appreciate how much impact there is to be had in smaller organisations, and you relish the ability to shape your own role and the future of the company.

Responsibilities:

Engage with and manage our existing customers. Focus on both retention and growth or our customer base. Work closely with the customer success team to provide a strong and positive customer experience. Drive a high level of renewals (mitigate churn). Ensure customer feedback is shared and incorporated into Crisp's platform and services. Build relationships with our customers and their reseller partners, trading partners, software vendors and other potential partners. Prepare sales targets and expense budgets bi-annually as required and work to meet or exceed those targets each quarter. Action any sales inquiries from existing clients forwarded by our internal teams. Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and of our business' capabilities, and ensure relevant sales strategies to align sales with successful project completion. Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. Client SPOC (Single Point of Contact) - Quarterback across internal teams Own NDR (New Dollar Retention - Manage client renewals and identify expansion opportunities Build out client stakeholder maps and expand economic buyer and executive-level relationships Run QBRs from development through presentation Co-develop the account strategy Manage key stakeholders who may or may not be users, and develop relationships Product Expertise Review account data around usage and activity, and look for opportunities to engage users further.

To achieve these goals, you will be required to:

Have a solid understanding of data analytics in the retail supply chain, requirements imposed by retailers, and an understanding of the client user experience when working with those transactions. Learn and use all software and sales tools the Crisp Sales Team prescribes. Participate in sales training programs Record all opportunities and sales in our CRM. Maintain excellent service by imposing quality and customer service standards, analysing and resolving problems, and recommending solutions to current clients. Develop and maintain good relationships with customers, partners and colleagues. Collaborate with the Customer Success Teams on post-sale activities as needed. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and video conferencing.

You have a track record of success in sales at a SaaS company and experience in the retail supply chain. You understand the value of renewals and upsells. You know how to assess a customer's needs and can guide them to the additional products that will help them succeed.

Software as a Service.

You have previous experience supporting SMB and Mid-Market customers for a SaaS company. You know how to work with individuals, teams, and larger organisations to ensure our product finds a home with our customers. You're comfortable working with new technology and can easily navigate unexpected situations.

Knowledge.

Our clients are primarily manufacturers or distributors of goods in the retail supply chain.
