Role Overview
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth in the UK market. This role involves identifying, engaging, and securing new clients across various industries, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored outsourcing solutions that align with client needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in BPO sales, relationship management, and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Acquisition
Develop and implement a business development strategy to target UK-based SMEs and large organisations.
Identify and engage decision-makers within target sectors.
Conduct sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure contracts.
Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and track progress through the sales cycle.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new business clients during onboarding and early project stages.
Gather client feedback to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling.
Market Research & Strategy
Research industry trends, competitor offerings, and client pain points to position Aetherbloom effectively.
Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and sales materials.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions meet client expectations.
Performance & Reporting
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by senior management.
Prepare regular business development reports for management review.
Use CRM tools to log interactions, track opportunities, and forecast sales performance.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in account management. business development or sales, preferably in the BPO, outsourcing, or customer service industry.
Proven success in generating new business and managing client relationships.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Preferred
Experience selling services into sectors such as customer service, administration, e-commerce, or technical support.
Understanding of UK outsourcing regulations and client expectations.
Working Conditions
Hybrid/remote with flexibility for in-person client meetings across the UK.
Occasional travel for networking events, trade shows, or client visits.
