We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Account Manager to join our growing team in Failsworth and take ownership of a portfolio of leading global brands. You should be the type of person who loves solving problems with a focus on balancing both business and customer needs. The right candidate will have experience in liaising with Tier 1 retailers and household brands; have a good understanding of the loyalty or affiliate marketing industry and be able to confidently represent the company with key, blue-chip clients.

Day-to-day responsibilities
Maintain positive business relationships with our retail partners
Deal with inbound enquiries from retail partners within your portfolio
Support and retain key accounts and reduce drop-off rate
Carry out proactive check-ins by email and video call for key accounts, offering additional updates and news on performance and marketing opportunities
Maintain an accurate record of live, retained and lost merchants, analysing reasons for churn to help develop future strategies for reducing merchant drop off
Resolve disputed payments with key retailers and occasionally assist the Finance team to recover payment of invoices or bad debt
Manage additional targeted campaigns within the wider publisher network
Identify new strategic partnerships to increase company growth across territories and verticals
Negotiate offers and Ts and Cs with retail partners, achieving upselling targets and KPIs
Keep up to date with market and competitor trends to identify potential threats and opportunities in the marketplace
Gather and update relevant data on retail partners to ensure accurate forecasts, marketing and promotional materials
Act as an ambassador for the company brand and mission
Ensure all relevant systems, CRM, worksheets and databases are maintained and up to date at all times
Additional Ad Hoc duties on behalf of the Operations team as and when required by the line manager
Resolve retailer disputes and ensure the correct implementation of company contracts and obligations
Ideal Qualifications
1-2 years of previous experience in a sales/account management role
Highly Autonomous - Ability to work with minimal oversight
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Previous experience in a B2B role
Experience working with Tier 1 retailers and household brands
Experience within the loyalty and/or affiliate marketing industry
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
A positive and persuasive personality with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at C-Suite level
A proactive work ethic with the ability to take initiative and identify potential roadblocks ahead of time
Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to prioritise own workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong computer literacy and ability to use and adapt to multiple systems including Hubspot CRM, Microsoft Office, Google Drive
