About the Role
We're looking to expand the Asset Finance team whose mission is to provide professional, consistently efficient service to all introducers and clients. Account Managers are responsible for building excellent relationships with customers (people who require finance for their business), vendors (organisations that supply the equipment or asset to the customer) and lenders (organisations that provide finance).
You will be responsible for delivering new business and upselling on existing accounts. You must take ownership of the entire sales process; from prospecting through to negotiating and closing.
We're on the lookout for someone who is first and foremost passionate about small businesses and loves seeing them grow and succeed. We're looking for someone to make their mark on the UK SME funding landscape through driving significant deal flow through Swoop's funding and savings platform. You'll have a passion for sales, an eye for a deal and a delight for data.
Generate sales.
Engaging new and existing clients.
Prospecting inbound/outbound funding opportunities.
Generate leads through research and prospecting
Finding, testing, and executing on new avenues to reach potential clients.
Build, maintain and refine CRM to support client, supplier and lender relationships
Provide accurate statistics on performance
Complete administrative paperwork to support the client, supplier and lender
Maintain currency with all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
Maintain skills through active participation with training and coaching sessions
Assist the wider team in achieving outstanding customer service, deliver outcomes that are both customer centric and commercially viable to help the business achieve its goals. At all times making sure our customers are treated fairly.
Contributing to the culture of Swoop and maintaining the reputation of the business at all times.

About You
2 years + sales experience, ideally B2B.
Ability to work independently and pro-actively
High degree of self motivation and desire to drive success
Demonstrate a commitment to achieve the highest standards
Strong IT, customer service, organisation and time management skills
Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships, communicate with clients and key stakeholders
Good understanding of the products offered and the markets that Swoop target (desired but training is provided)
Ability to negotiate effectively and influence decisions
Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, our customers and our business
Ambitious, positive and proactive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Works well under pressure.
