The opportunity





We are looking for medical or life science specialists with a passion for scientific communication to join our Envision Medical Communications team.



As an Account Manager, you will take the lead in managing and growing our client accounts within the publications and medcomms domain. Your role will be pivotal in overseeing all aspects of project management and client service, ensuring that each project is delivered with the highest quality, on time, and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, building strong relationships and working closely with internal teams to bring complex projects to fruition.



This is a UK based role and we welcome applications from candidates looking to either work remotely within the UK, or from one of our UK office locations.

Role responsibilities


Project & Client Management: Lead day-to-day client interactions and oversee project delivery from briefing to completion. Coordinate internal teams to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality execution of deliverables. Strategic Delivery: Understand client objectives, industry regulations, and internal SOPs to ensure consistent alignment. Troubleshoot delivery challenges and take proactive steps to resolve issues. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Scientific leads to align on strategy, content, and planning. Support team members by providing guidance and mentoring where needed. Account Oversight & Growth: Maintain strong client relationships, monitor satisfaction, and manage account performance. Drive financial processes including budget preparation, scope management, and forecasting. Business Development: Identify and support new business opportunities within existing accounts. Contribute to proposals and participate in pitches. Operational Contribution: Participate in cross-functional initiatives and working groups to enhance company processes and services.

Skills & expertise


Demonstrable experience in a client-facing, project or account management role in a medical communications agency environment. Prior experience working on a publications focused account is essential. Experience managing complex and multichannel projects, including financial management. Proven ability to build strong and positive relationships with clients and other external stakeholders. Ability to lead and motivate a team, preferably with experience mentoring others. Excellent organisational skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools and software.
