Job Description

Hemiko is seeking a skilled and proactive Account Manager to join our Contract Management Team, reporting to the Contract Manager.





The core responsibility of the Account Manager role will be to manage and maintain key client relationships for an assigned portfolio of heat network contracts, serving as their main point of contact for all operational, financial and contractual matters. The Account Manager will work closely with various internal teams to ensure the effective delivery of our contractual requirements.

Hemiko is a fast-growing innovative business which is looking to invest in and deliver over 1bn of heat network projects in the coming years. We fund, design, build, operates and maintain low carbon district energy networks and building energy systems. This work is for communities, towns, and cities. We work with local authorities, developers, house builders, and property owners.

Candidate





We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and self motivated Account Manager with a strong client focus. The successful candidate will be capable of managing multiple contracts independently while maintaining robust client relationships. In our fast growing and evolving company, you will thrive in a collaborative team environment, taking ownership of your responsibilities and ensuring timely delivery. We are looking for someone who is not only adept at current processes but also eager to contribute to our continuous improvement journey towards a more structured, efficient, and innovative delivery. The ideal candidate will be forward looking, able to anticipate challenges, and effectively self manage their workload to consistently deliver high quality results.

Specific Tasks





Participating on the delivery of our projects during operational phases working with and supported by the wider Hemiko Team. In more detail this will include:


Managing a dedicated portfolio of heat network client contracts, serving as the primary point of contact for day to-day operational and contractual matters. Build and strengthen effective working relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed. Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial and operational reporting to clients within agreed deadlines. Lead and actively participate in regular client meetings, effectively addressing concerns and capturing actions. Monitor and ensure contractual KPIs are consistently met and maintained across your portfolio, working with the relevant internal stakeholders to provide the data. Clearly communicate contractual requirements and client specific needs to wider internal teams, facilitating effective cross functional delivery. Take ownership of specific project elements or initiatives within your client portfolio, ensuring successful delivery. Undertake all necessary contract administration tasks for your assigned clients, ensuring compliance and accurate record keeping. Collaborate closely with the Contract Manager and other team members to identify and flag process improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience




Proven experience in an Account Management or similar client facing role Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities. The ability to build rapport with clients. Solid analytical skills, comfortable with interpreting data for reporting, and identifying key insights Understanding of Building Services and Utility Networks is desirable. A proactive, solutions oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership and see tasks through to completion. Able to work well in a team. A willingness to take ownership of a project and see it through to completion Attention to detail and a 'right first time' approach. Willingness to think differently, to innovate and to proactively look at new and better solutions. A willingness to travel within the UK if required.

Renumeration and Info




Remuneration: up to 28,549 depending on experience. Discretionary bonus based on individual and business performance. An inclusive culture that promotes diversity.
