Role: Financial Account Manager

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire (with occasional travel as required)

Duration: 3 Years

Reporting to: Managing Director

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Financial Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financials of our client . This includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, managing budgets, supporting business decision-making, and strengthening financial controls to ensure the long-term stability and growth of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow.Prepare annual financial statements.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (HMRC, VAT, tax filings, Companies House submissions).Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions.Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.Support cost control, risk management, and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

Must hold a degree in accounting or in a relevant field. Experience in accounting or a relevant role.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly to non-financial managers.High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
