Ross & Catherall employs around 150 employees and is situated in a great location on the outskirts of Sheffield, easily accessible from the M1 and public transport routes.

The Role





As an

Account Manager

, you'll play a key role in driving growth by developing opportunities with both new and existing customers, ensuring sales targets are met and exceptional service is consistently delivered across our vacuum and air melt accounts.

In this dynamic role, you'll take ownership of customer relationships, collaborating closely with internal teams to align solutions with client needs and market demands.



Key responsibilities include:


Crafting accurate, competitive quotations based on customer enquiries, working cross-functionally with purchasing and technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with customer requirements.

Preparing and delivering clear, data-driven monthly reports, covering areas such as revert reconciliation and work-in-progress (WIP) stock, to keep stakeholders informed and maintain transparency.

Proactively monitoring market trends and supply chain factors through research and customer engagement, helping the business stay agile and competitive.

Handling incoming sales enquiries across multiple channels, including email, phone, and web, ensuring timely and professional responses that convert interest into opportunities.

To succeed as an account manager, it's important to have strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and consistent monthly reporting, effective stakeholder management and communication skills to set and meet customer expectations, and a solid technical understanding, both in using management information systems and in the processes involved with superalloys and metal production. Previous experience in an account management role within the aerospace or industrial gas turbine industry is also desirable, as it helps build a strong understanding of the relevant processes and product capabilities.
