Account Manager (Entry-Level) - Defence, Security & Government Sectors

Location: Wiltshire - Hybrid working

Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 + excellent OTE + yearly bonus + excellent company benefits

NexGen Associates is recruiting on behalf of a leading technical consultancy that delivers secure mission-critical services across the Defence National Security Nuclear and wider Government sectors.

As part of their continued growth they are seeking an Account Manager at Entry Level to support client engagement bidding and sales activity. This is a great opportunity for someone with around two years' experience in business development account management or bid support who is ready to grow in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support senior account managers and sales leads in managing relationships with key government defence and national security clients Assist in identifying new business opportunities and contribute to account growth strategies Coordinate and help prepare bids proposals and framework submissions Stay informed of client priorities programmes and procurement routes Maintain CRM systems track pipelines and support reporting Attend client meetings industry events and briefings to grow network and insight

Requirements:

Around 2 years' experience in a sales bids or client-facing role within Defence National Security Nuclear or Government departments Good understanding of UK public sector procurement and bidding processes Strong written and verbal communication skills Organised detail-focused and able to manage multiple priorities Committed to building long-term client relationships and making an impact Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC)
