About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and professional Junior Account & Marketing Executive to join our growing marketing agency. This role is specifically designed to take ownership of our smaller client accounts, working under the guidance and direction of the Marketing Manager.
You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day client communication, supporting the creation of marketing strategies, coordinating delivery with the wider team, and executing a range of marketing activity yourself. We're looking for someone with an all-round marketing skillset, along with the credibility, professionalism and confidence to represent our agency and manage client relationships effectively.
While you won't be expected to deliver all specialist services yourself (such as full graphic design or complex development), you will be hands-on and comfortable supporting with a variety of tasks when needed, always backed by our experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
Client Account Management
Take ownership of a portfolio of smaller client accounts as the main day-to-day point of contact.
Manage client communication with a high level of professionalism and confidence.
Understand client needs, gather briefs, set expectations and communicate timelines clearly.
Support and attend client meetings under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
Strategy & Planning
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to support the creation and delivery of marketing strategies for clients.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to support client growth and performance.
Campaign Coordination
Organise and coordinate work across the wider team including design, web and marketing specialists.
Ensure tasks are clearly briefed, tracked and delivered on time.
Support with light creative or website tasks when required, while relying on specialists for larger work.
Hands-On Marketing Execution
Create and schedule social media content.
Write and edit basic marketing content such as blogs, social posts and website updates.
Support email marketing, basic SEO and simple digital campaign execution.
Make minor content or website edits after training.
Performance & Reporting
Track and monitor key marketing metrics such as engagement, website traffic and leads.
Support the Marketing Manager with reporting and performance analysis.
Help identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Skills & Experience
Essential
A good all-round understanding of marketing from social media through to wider digital marketing.
Some practical experience in a marketing role, placement, internship or agency environment.
The credibility, professionalism and confidence to manage client relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisation and time management.
A proactive, reliable and positive attitude.
Desirable
Experience with social media scheduling tools.
Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing or paid social.
Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress.
Familiarity with tools such Adobe at a basic level.
Previous agency experience.
