As Accounts Payable co-ordinator at KYN you will be responsible for the end-to-end AP process for all of our Homes, Development sites and Head Office. You will ensure that all our suppliers' payments and queries are managed accurately and effectively so that they can focus on our residents and their family members feeling loved, happy, safe, and secure.
You will be part of the Finance team and will work very closely with the accounts team
About the opportunity:
As Accounts Payable Co-ordinator you will be responsible for:
Process and code a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently across our care homes.
Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service partners, handling queries promptly and professionally.
Prepare supplier payment runs, ensuring all payments are accurate, timely, and properly authorised.
Liaise with care home managers to verify purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and support budget tracking.
Reconcile supplier statements, prepare accruals, and support the finance team in producing accurate monthly management accounts.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, including the rollout of automation tools and digital workflows.
About you:
Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
Confident Excel skills and experience with accounting software
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills with both finance and operational colleagues
High integrity and reliability -- trusted to manage payments and sensitive financial information
Calm and organised under pressure, with the ability to prioritise effectively
Service-driven approach -- collaborative, empathetic, and aligned with the group's values of quality and care
