An excellent entry-level position in accounting with a number of clear progression routes. Helpbox UK (Taxsense Accountants limited) specialise in delivering apprenticeships, over 70% of our team began their careers on apprenticeships and much of our senior management & leadership team is made up of employees who completed an apprenticeship here.

This is an opportunity to work directly with our qualified accountants and learn on the job whilst completing your AAT qualification.

This role fits within our existing accounts teams and offers an apprentice the chance to work on all aspects of our accounts production process. This apprenticeship gives the apprentice a fantastic foundation knowledge to progress within accounting.

The apprentice will gain experience across multiple areas of accounting including payroll, VAT, personal tax and more. Some of the day to day tasks include:

Liaising with customers via phone & email Basic bookkeeping through to preparation of simple accounts Assisting with Companies House and HMRC references & authorisations. Payroll Tasks Processing client data Updating our internal management system

Our objective is always to keep apprentices on full time upon completion of the apprenticeship. There are opportunities to progress on to higher level qualifications and take on more senior roles within the accounts team.

We're looking for candidates with a minumum qualification of: A Level

Salary review after 12 months with salary of 21000 - 24000 available dependent on performance.
