Intirim Accountant FTC (6 months)
Location: Henfield
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000
Hours: 0830-1730 (Initially for training the flexibility after training)
Our client is looking for an Accountant for 6 months. You will be reporting to the Group Finance Director. The role will include supporting the shared-service and financial accounting team through the interim and year-end audit period. Must be available immediately!
What You'll Do:
As their Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their financial operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate financial statements and reports

• Managing accounts payable and receivable

• Conducting monthly reconciliations and variance analysis

• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes

• Supporting the year-end audit process

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements

A cheerful, detail-oriented professional who is ready to bring their expertise to our team. The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or QBE)

• Proven experience in an accounting role

• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Fantastic communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
