Job Description
The successful candidate must:
Be level 3 AAT qualified as a minimum/ equivalent or qualified by appropriate experience. Minimum 2 years in practice required.
Work from our office based in Scarborough, as part of a well established busy accountancy practice.
Have good IT skills, use of Microsoft excel, word, outlook.
Experience with bookkeeping software such as Xero and sage is required.
Have a full valid UK driving licence.
Be a driven individual with good organisational skills as well as communication skills.
The successful candidate may have:
Experience using accountancy packages such as Iris, Sage, Sage payroll.
Job Role
As Accounting Technician your duties will include a wide range of accounting tasks primarily the preparation of financial statements for our varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. This may include online bookkeeping work through our recommended software providers Xero, sage business cloud and Kashflow. You will also be required to draft VAT returns.
The role will also involve extensive client interaction and so good communication skills are a must.
In house training and development will be offered as standard.
For the right candidate this job role is one that can develop throughout the firm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 24,000.00-28,000.00 per year
