We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team in the UK. This role is pivotal in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accuracy in our accounting processes. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing exceptional service as we expand our offerings.
We're looking for a

versatile Accountant / Business Assistant

who enjoys variety and wants to be part of a growing eCommerce business. While a big part of your role will focus on

accounting and bookkeeping

, you'll also take part in

customer communication, daily operations, and sales support

.

If you're someone who loves numbers but doesn't want to be stuck in a routine -- this role is for you. Each day will look a little different, giving you the opportunity to learn new things and contribute across multiple areas of the business.

Responsibilities



Handle

day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping

tasks (sales entries, reconciliations, expense tracking). Manage transactions from

Shopify, Amazon, or other eCommerce platforms

. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.). Prepare

monthly financial reports

and summaries for management. Communicate with customers and suppliers about billing or order-related inquiries. Support

operations

-- help coordinate orders, vendors, or logistics when needed. Assist the

sales team

with quotes, follow-ups, and administrative support. Contribute to improving workflows and maintaining accurate records across departments.

Requirements



2+ years of

experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration

. Experience in the

eCommerce industry

is prefered . Excellent English communication skills -- written and verbal. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks. Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice to Have



Background in

customer service or operations management

.
