About the Role:
Due to ongoing growth and continued demand for our services, we are looking for motivated individuals to support the delivery of high-quality accountancy services across a diverse client base. You'll play a key role in preparing accounts and maintaining strong client relationships, with opportunities to contribute to sector-specific projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assisting clients with accounting queries and maintaining professional relationships
Supporting senior staff and managers on client assignments and internal projects
Managing your own workload with minimal supervision
Assisting with tax computations and bookkeeping, depending on experience
Requirements
Previous experience in a professional accountancy practice is essential
ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified (or working towards qualification) is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Organised, self-motivated, and capable of meeting deadlines
A client-focused attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience in specialist sectors such as farming or healthcare would be an advantage
