Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant Clerk to join our dynamic team in Sunderland, UK. In this pivotal role, you will contribute by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, supporting our operations across the globe.

Responsibilities

Preparation and posting of monthly journals Accruals and Prepayment calculations Balance Sheet reconciliations Inter-company transactions Accounts receivable (Analyze, price and quantity discrepancies) Fixed Asset reporting (Additions, Disposals, Depreciation calculations) Understanding of the purchase order process and goods receiving Office for National Statistics reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Qualifications

An ability to communicate and co-operate with people of different levels inside/outside the Company and to achieve goals and business objectives An ability to recognise and respond to customer expectations with a sense of urgency Ability to work to strict deadlines Dedicated and thorough attention to detail SAP experience desirable but not essential AAT Qualified desirable. An understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley is desirable Experience within a Manufacturing environment is desirable Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data in a multi- currency environment Excellent communication skills
