Based in Cradley Heath | Full-Time
Are you a detail-oriented, fully qualified accountant looking to join a dynamic and growing business? We're looking for a proactive and experienced professional to manage the financial operations of our company from our Cradley Heath office.
About the Role
As our in-house accountant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial management and compliance. You'll be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing tax obligations, and supporting strategic decision-making through reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Complete preparation of accounts, VAT returns, tax returns (corporation, partnership, and self-assessment), and payroll.
- Must fully understand and be able to use the Xero software
- Perform bookkeeping duties, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review statutory and management financial reports.
- Provide sound financial advice and insights to support the business.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Audit financial data and flag inconsistencies or issues.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Assist with internal and external financial queries.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), with at least 2-3 years of experience.
Confident in accounting principles, tax compliance (corporation and personal tax), and accounting software.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A clear communicator with a professional, client-focused approach.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to 58,348.11 per year
