Overview:

We are a small but ambitious accountancy practice based in Motherwell and currently expanding our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accountant -- whetherpart-qualified, newly qualified, or qualified by experience -- to build a rewarding career in a growing firm.

You'll join a close-knit team where your contributions will directly shape the future of the practice. As the company grows, you'll have the chance to progress into a senior position, with your title and salary reflecting your performance and commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Preparation of management accounts Drafting corporation tax and personal tax computations Preparation of VAT returns and assisting with client bookkeeping Running payroll Working with accounting software such as Xero and IRIS (training provided)

What We're Looking For:

Accountancy experience (practice background preferred) Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping (essential) Experience with Xero and/or IRIS (desirable, but training provided) Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, timely work Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Driven, professional, and eager to take on greater responsibility
