About Us



We are a leading caviar processing and production company dedicated to excellence, precision, and sustainability in the luxury food sector. To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure strong cost control within our production environment.

Key Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and invoicing.

Oversee inventory accounting and cost control, ensuring accuracy of stock and production costs.

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and year-end reports.

Maintain full compliance with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.

Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis for production.

Liaise with management and operations teams to provide financial insights on margins and profitability.

Coordinate with international offices and branches, ensuring smooth financial reporting and compliance across locations.

Manage and reconcile intra-company accounts and intercompany transactions.

Implement and maintain robust internal controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications



5+ years' professional accounting experience, ideally within food production, FMCG, or manufacturing.

Strong working knowledge of Sage or QuickBooks (essential).

Proven ability to manage intra-company accounts, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidations.

Experience supporting international offices and branches, including multi-currency accounting and foreign tax compliance.

Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, cost control, and production accounting.

Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and statutory compliance requirements.

Knowledge of payroll systems, invoicing processes, and financial reporting.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide insight into margins, costs, and operational efficiency.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and liaise with external auditors and regulators.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred.

Desirable Qualifications



Experience in the luxury goods, premium food, or export industry.

Knowledge of supply chain finance and logistics cost accounting.

Familiarity with ERP systems and process automation tools.

Prior experience in high-value inventory control or perishables management.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international business environment.
