Job Description


This is a 9 month opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a well established Not for Profit organisation operating on an agile working model! It is an exciting time for the organisation in preparation for a transformation.

As the Accountant you will:

  • Will have complete responsibility for the delivery and planning statutory, management reporting, ad hoc activities and other relevant KPI\'s.
  • Deliver relative financial date to budget holders and build and maintain relationships within finance and partnering functions in order to influence sound informed decisions.
  • Deliver continual forecasting on a regular basis in order to support budget holders in the moniorisation of operational and budget targets.
  • Prepare budgets on a recurring and annual budgets and reviews on the basis of expenditure and income while delivering efficiency\'s against budgets.
  • Prepare knowledgeable accountancy in lie with FRS standards.
  • Sustain the financial accounts ensuring consistency and updates in line with relevant systems and in line with accuracy.
  • Collective work with internal and external relations, finance, budget holders. Stakeholders and procurement.
  • Achieving reconciliations on a month by month basis in relation to assets, general ledgers, records and aid in the development of the group\'s financial data and systems.
  • Confirm governance, regulatory, compliance and health and safety inclusive of completing the statutory returns to regulators.
  • Manage associated risks.

The successful Accountant will:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience and use of relative accounting standards i. FRS,.
  • Experience within accounting, management reporting, business partnering and year end audit.
  • Experience within management and the ability to project manage, lead and demonstrate a collaborative approach
  • Experience within financial accounting and presenting data.
  • Experience within the development of systems to optimise usage and increase deficiencies.
  • Experience in assisting and delivering projects to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to analyse financial issues and interpret information.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to tight deadlines.
