Accountant, Partner Syndicates

Job Description

Who we are

Apollo is a specialised, independent (re)insurer operating at Lloyd's, established in 2009 with a clear ambition: to deliver high-quality underwriting, service and partnerships in a market that values expertise and trust.

The name Apollo reflects our origins. Inspired by founding investor Neil Armstrong -- the first person to walk on the moon -- the business was built with the same pioneering mindset. Alongside Jim Hays, Neil saw an opportunity to create a different kind of Lloyd's platform: focused, agile and built around people.

Since launch, Apollo has evolved into a diversified insurance group. Today, our offering spans traditional and specialty lines through Apollo 1969, innovative sharing-economy solutions via ibott 1971, and managing agency services for Platform Partner Syndicates at Lloyd's.

With a global team of more than 300 professionals, we continue to grow with purpose, combining underwriting excellence, innovation and collaboration to support our mission of enabling a more resilient and sustainable world.

"We attract and retain diverse talent by creating an inclusive environment where people are empowered to grow, succeed and do their best work. By fostering excellence and forward-thinking, we aim to enable a resilient and sustainable world."

David Ibeson, Group CEO
