Quatra is growing rapidly across Europe, and we are further expanding our presence in the UK. To support this expansion, we are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Perivale (London).

As we continue to grow, you will take responsibility for the daily accounting operations while contributing to the development of a future-proof financial administration that supports our expansion. Your analytical skills and structured way of working will be key in ensuring reliable and efficient processes.

Your responsibilities as Accountant:

Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing invoices, by reviewing entries made by your colleagues and following up on outstanding supplier balances. Managing an accurate monthly and yearly closing process, including handling various accounting entries such as bank and cash transactions, payroll bookings and inventory. Delivering clear analyses and substantiations of balance sheet items, while monitoring the P&L to detect any anomalies. Handling VAT and other local tax filings in line with UK legislation, and providing support during audits and tax inspections. Supporting local management with ad hoc analyses and follow-ups. Actively contributing ideas to improve our financial and administrative processes. Collaborating closely with the accounting team at our headquarters in Belgium to align processes, share expertise, and ensure consistent financial reporting across countries.

What do we expect from you?

A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related field. A few years of experience in a similar role is a strong asset. Strong knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations. You work accurately, independently, and in a structured manner, with a strong eye for detail. Solid Excel skills; knowledge of Odoo or another ERP system is a plus. Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing, international environment.
