Summary
We are seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic team at Nunns Accounting Services Ltd. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our clients' financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your contributions will help us continue making a difference for our clients and the community.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of client relationships.
Handle client communications, occasional meetings and provide basic advisory services.
Identify business coaching opportunities and provide financial management advice to clients.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Utilise accounting software to streamline financial operations.
Review work and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Prepare and review tax returns.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Maintain company service standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accountant, ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Must be able to work in our offices in Selby.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero.
Excellent financial management skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective client and team interaction.
Client relationship management experience
Minimum of 4 years practice experience
UK tax knowledge
