Account Technician with payroll experience to join our Finance Team at our Head Office based in Newry

Haldane Fisher are a leading timber and builder's merchants and have a reputation for innovation and excellence within their field.Key duties of an Accountant Technician with payroll experience include:
Support monthly management accounts and general ledger reconciliations. Process payroll accurately, including starters, leavers, and salary changes. Prepare BACS and PAYE payments, ensuring strict confidentiality and deadlines. Collate time and attendance data for payroll and reporting. Handle payroll queries professionally, providing excellent service to employees.

Has strong communication and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Works well under pressure and maintains accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Brings solid payroll knowledge and experience using payroll software. Is discreet, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining confidentiality. Works collaboratively as part of a supportive team. Has experience with time management systems and is confident using Excel. Holds an IATI qualification or has equivalent practical experience.
