Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to provide financial information to management, produce payroll, invoices, and financial statements, and ensure all financial reporting is accurate. As an integral member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and implementing financial best practices within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: wage to be agreed at time of interview to do with the hours

- Prepare and maintain payroll, financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other reports

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and support decision-making processes

- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Skills:

- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or other accounting software

- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
