Responsibilities



Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms. Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation to ensure data integrity. Conduct bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account accuracy. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations; handle tax-related tasks with precision. Support budgeting activities by analyzing expenses and assisting in financial planning efforts. Execute governmental accounting procedures when applicable, ensuring adherence to specific standards. Perform detailed account analysis and double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records. Assist with internal audits and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Work on Sage

Qualifications



Proven experience in corporate or non-profit accounting environments with a strong understanding of GAAP standards. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar platforms; experience with multiple systems is a plus. Solid knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis. Familiarity with governmental accounting practices and tax regulations is preferred but not required. Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately. Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles and technical accounting practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks such as payroll processing, budgeting support, and financial report writing simultaneously. High proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy; experience with financial software automation tools is advantageous. Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
