We\'re seeking a talented individual to fill a permanent position and contribute to our company\'s payroll accounting and balance sheet reconciliation. About the role (External)





What does the average day look like?
The role of Accounting & Compliance Assistant is a multifaceted role in that you will undertake various duties including (but not limited to): Assisting in periodic financial accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, cost account allocations, and intercompany transactions.
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with business processes and contractual terms.
  • Identifying and resolving business process defects, while working closely with stakeholders to improve performance metrics.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of process, technology, and business change improvements.
  • Analysing and allocating costs to budget holders, providing necessary supporting data.
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations to uphold the company\'s financial integrity.

  • Proactively addressing queries and escalating issues when necessary.

What essential skills and experiences are required? The successful candidate for this role will be required to be/have: - 1. Working towards or member of a relevant professional body, (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT) 2. Sufficient experience to fulfil the requirements of the role. 3. Advanced Excel skills and high-level numerical skills and ability to interpret data quickly. 4. Attention to detail. 5. Experience of working in a customer focused environment. 6. React swiftly to customer requests and ability to proactively resolve issues. 7. Knowledge of current accounting standards
