Key Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Maintain employee records, timesheets, and leave balances.
Prepare and lodge PAYG, superannuation, and other statutory obligations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
Liaise with management, staff, and external accountants as required.
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience in payroll, bookkeeping, or accounting (small business experience highly regarded).
Knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation, and award interpretation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero/MYOB/QuickBooks).
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
