The Role

We're looking for an experienced bookkeeper to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting across Metrikus and its subsidiaries. The immediate focus will be bringing bookkeeping and payroll back in-house from an outsourced provider, tidying existing data, and establishing reliable monthly processes.



Beyond core bookkeeping, this role would suit someone with a

RevOps or SaaS-aware mindset

someone interested in how financial and commercial data connect across systems. You'll work closely with the

Finance Lead

and collaborate with colleagues in project and revenue-related teams to strengthen financial accuracy and insight.



This is a hands-on role where you'll get to shape better processes, support growth, and make a visible impact in a fast-moving scale up environment.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain accurate bookkeeping in

QuickBooks Online

+ Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
+ Support payroll, pensions, and employee benefits administration
+ Prepare VAT returns and assist with monthly management accounts
+ Track cashflow and support short- and medium-term forecasting
+ Liaise with external accountants and support year-end audit
+ Partner with project and RevOps teams to align invoicing, revenue recognition and reporting
+ Improve data capture and reporting processes across finance and operations

About You

5+ years' experience in bookkeeping or finance administration Strong grounding in

bookkeeping, cashflow and payroll

AAT/ATT qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA welcome) Skilled in QuickBooks (or similar) and confident in Excel/Google Sheets Comfortable working with project teams and cross-functional stakeholders Hands-on, adaptable and used to startup or scale-up environments Curious about SaaS and how finance connects to revenue operations
