The role




Orbit are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for an Accounting Technician. We are looking for a passionate and ambitious individual that's eager for a career in accountancy, where you will provide an excellent finance service to your customers and maintain accurate financial information.


This role is part of Finance where you'll help us to invest more back into communities and design for strength.

What you'll achieve




Your key responsibilities will be to:

To accurately process journals for property sales throughout the month in line with deadlines To reconcile and maintain monthly property sales reconciliations in line with deadlines To maintain, reconcile and process monthly journals for key balance sheet control accounts Preparation of accruals, prepayments and journals Support the financial accountant with month and year end To assist both the Financial Accountant and Assistant Accountant with any ad hoc tasks/queries Provide accurate information for internal and external auditors Ensure all information is provided in accordance with agreed timetables and formats

Part way through or actively studying for your AAT qualification Good IT literacy including excel skills The ability to communicate clearly with customers Good literacy and numeracy skills Attention to detail Good organisational and time management skills
