About Us



Spa Vending was our first vending business and was established 50 years ago in 1975. At the time it was based in small premises in Kirkby Malzeard and served businesses in Yorkshire & the North East. Over the years, the company has successfully grown and expanded, now incorporating Lincoln Vending, ABC Vending - Scunthorpe and Crown Vending - Scarborough. To reflect and amalgamate these companies, we decided to rebrand as BreakTime Group Ltd.
We now operate out of two offices. Our head office is based in Ripon and we have another office located in Lincoln. These locations now enable us to service an area that includes the whole of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East of England up to and including Newcastle.
BreakTime Group Ltd is a growing and forward-thinking business, committed to delivering high-quality services while fostering a supportive and flexible working environment. We are now looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to support our finance function and grow with the business.

Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts & Admin professional to join our team. This role involves managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and prior experience in administrative or clerical roles. This is a flexible role, with working hours and days open to discussion, making it ideal for someone looking for work-life balance while still wanting responsibility and career development. Rate of pay is open to discussion depending on experience and working hours as flexible.

Responsibilities



Managing accounts using software such as Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Office programmes. Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records Handling correspondence via email and phone with professional etiquette Organising files, documents, and office supplies to ensure smooth workflow Assisting with invoicing, billing, and expense tracking Supporting general administrative duties including scheduling appointments and managing calendars Responding promptly to enquiries and providing exceptional phone etiquette Collaborating with team members to ensure organisational efficiency Bank reconciliations Managing supplier and customer accounts Assisting with VAT returns Supporting month-end processes Processing sales and purchase invoices

About You



Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with accounting software such as Sage 50 Accounts is desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Previous clerical experience involving data entry and record keeping Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential Familiarity with office procedures, filing systems, and general administrative functions Proactive, enthusiastic, and keen to learn
