We are a growing family-run coffee business and have 11 coffee houses currently open and have 2 additional sites opening later this year. We have a large wholesale business supplying our excellent coffee to other coffee shops and restaurants, and we also have an e-commerce presence. Alongside our Coffee business, we have a popular bar on Brighton seafront and a pub in the Brighton Lanes.
Responsibilities -
Revenue income reconciliation
Review general ledger transactions to ensure costs have been coded correctly
Process month-end journals and accruals
Ensure bank accounts are reconciled
Supplier statement reconciliation
Assist in annual budget preparation
Help and support during company audits and year-end reporting
Cover other finance roles during times of holiday
What we need from you:
AAT qualified or currently studying
Good to advanced Excel skills
Flexibility and can work on the majority of functions within the department
Work on your own initiative and with other colleagues within a very commercial company
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach
Experience with Xero accounting or similar accounts software
