DM Cranes Ltd is a growing and dynamic crane hire company providing high-quality lifting solutions across the region. We're looking for an organised and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our busy office team. If you have strong experience in VAT returns, payroll, PAYE, Xero, and HMRC processes, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As our Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the business, supporting smooth operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounts tasks. This is a key role within our office, offering variety and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit VAT Returns accurately and on time
Manage Payroll processes, including PAYE, NI, pensions and HMRC submissions
Process invoices, receipts, payments and reconcile accounts in Xero
Handle HMRC correspondence and ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines
Maintain financial records and assist with monthly/annual reporting
Support the business with general administrative duties
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding accounts queries
About You
Previous experience in an accounts/finance administration role
Strong knowledge of VAT, Payroll, PAYE and HMRC requirements
Confident using Xero
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
