Job Title: Accounts administrator reporting to: Head of Accounts/Costs Department
Award winning North Leeds law firm is looking for a school leaver to help them in their busy Accounts department. It is a great opportunity to get into a law firm and learn all areas of accounts.
Key tasks (not an exhaustive list)
Bank reconciliations
Billing
Data inputting
Posting of disbursements
Producing invoices
Nominal entries
Chasing invoices
- Debt recovery
Dealing with various queries
Day-to-day compliance of Solicitors Accounts Rules
Assistance with processing cheques, BACS remittances, closing files and daily banking and credit control
Various ad-hoc duties
Candidate should have:
Impeccable attention to detail
Excellent organization and planning skills
Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure
Quick learner
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Would be useful to have some experience but will be trained on everything
Hours of Work
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14,000.00-18,500.00 per year
