We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of accounts payable functions. The Account Administrator will work closely with various departments to maintain accurate financial information and support the overall financial health of the organisation.
Duties
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or updates to existing software.
Experience
Proven experience as an Account Administrator or in a similar role within an accounting environment.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
