We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Xero and a good understanding of both accounts payable and receivable processes. You will be responsible for managing supplier payments, chasing outstanding debts, and supporting general accounts-related administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate is organised, reliable, and confident working independently to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Key Responsibilities;
Manage accounts payable, including processing and scheduling supplier payments in Xero.
Oversee accounts receivable functions, including generating and sending statements and following up on outstanding debts.
Apply customer payments accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
Support with payment applications and maintaining payment records.
Perform general administrative tasks related to finance, such as data entry, invoice management, and filing.
Assist with month-end processes and provide support to the wider finance team as needed.
Requirements:
Experience in Xero accounting software (essential).
Previous experience in an accounts administration or finance support role.
Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive and dependable team player with a strong work ethic.
